This week, we finished the storyboard. We did a lot of work to it throughout the week, using every available moment to create it, and now that it is finished, we feel pleased.
However, we feel that our initial plot is not as good as we thought it was. I think that we might have a serious think about it over the summer holidays and we will have a meeting when we come back to school about if we want to change the plot slightly or go in a completely different direction. Hopefully we don't need to go a different direction because then all the work that we have previously done will be irrelevant and we will have to start all over again. This can cause serious problems because then we will be behind schedule.
Welcome to my blog for my A2 Media Studies coursework. With Hayley Pitcher, we have planned and created a 5 minute pyschological thriller entitled 'Mind Trap', which focuses on the life of Lucy, a teenager suffering from schizophrenia. As well as this, we have created two anciliary products; an audio advert that would be fit to broadcast on the radio and a poster to advertise our film to our demographic.

This week, we focused on starting our storyboard. Because our plot features an arugment, we needed to use a lot of short cuts to convey the quick pace and high tension in the scene. This meant that our storyboard is fairly long, but we decided that we wanted it to be detailed so that we can use for refernce on shooting days to know exactly how the shots should look.
